Celebrity Cricket League 2014 Points Table

P W T L NR A Pts NetRR
1 Karnataka Bulldozers 4 3 1 0 0 0 7 1.805
2 Kerala Strikers 3 3 0 0 0 0 6 0.267
3 Bhojpuri Dabanggs 3 2 0 1 0 0 4 1.833
4 Mumbai Heroes 4 2 0 2 0 0 4 1.433
5 Telugu Warriors 4 2 0 2 0 0 4 0.203
6 Chennai Rhinos 3 1 1 1 0 0 3 -0.144
7 Veer Marathi 4 0 0 4 0 0 0 -2.139
8 Bengal Tigers 3 0 0 3 0 0 0 -3.700

Right now, Bhojpuri Dabanggs and Kerala Strikers are the most favorite teams of CCL 4 having won both their initial games. Dabanggs defeated Veer Marathi and Bengal Tigers in their respective games while Strikers were victorious against Telugu Warriors and Veer Marathi. Both the sides have 4 points each but Dabanggs are placed at the top due to their better NRR.

Karnataka Bulldozers and Chennai Rhinos have one win out of their two games and when both these sides met each other they ended in a draw which yielded 1 point to each of these sides for that game. So both these sides have 3 points each and Karnataka with a NRR of 2.875 are placed at the 3rd spot and Rhinos with 0.088 NRR are at fourth position so far.

The 5th position is secured by Telugu Warriors by winning one and losing one game. They won the match against Mumbai Heroes and lost to Kerala Strikers in their opening encounter. They have earned only 2 points so far.

All the remaining three sides haven’t won even a single match so far and are the bottom three with 0 points each. The better NRR places Mumbai Heroes at the 6th position. Veer Marathi are placed next at 7th while Bengal Tigers, like last year, are at the bottom of the points table currently with poorest NRR amongst the bottom three teams.

This sums up the scenario in CCL 2014 till now; let’s see what happens in the coming matches and which teams qualify for the semifinals.
